Adam, a 38-year-old resident of Tennessee, performed Lonestar’s “Amazed” before Janice sang Sia’s “Chandelier.” Despite being a huge fan of Janice, Adam Levine failed to smile when his own singer secured a spot in the top ten. According to the Maroon 5 frontman, talent cannot be judged in a competition or judged at all. The show saved ten other artists who will move on to next week’s episode. Chloe Kohanski, a 23-year-old Tennessean and member of Blake Shelton’s team, was the first to be saved after delivering a rendition of “Total Eclipse Of The Heart” on Monday’s episode.
After a long and intense competition, the moment everyone had been waiting for finally arrived. The last 11 talented singers stood together in anticipation on the grand stage as the show was about to begin.
Carson Daly skillfully hosted the one-hour elimination show, ensuring that the pace remained steady. Addison Agen, a talented 16-year-old from Indiana representing Team Adam, was announced as the next contestant to be safe and remain in the competition. During Monday’s performance, Addison captivated the judges with her rendition of Joni Mitchell’s classic ballad, A Case Of You. Following her announcement, Brooke Simpson, a 26-year-old Native American singer, was also declared safe. Her recent performance of Pink’s hit song, What About Us, was a tribute to her tribe and received plenty of attention. “It was an incredible moment for me to highlight not only my tribe but other tribes across the country,” said Brooke as she ran to embrace her coach Miley.
The initial person to be rescued by audience voting was none other than Chloe Kohanski, who happened to be a part of Blake Shelton’s group.
Brooke Simpson appeared surprised as Carson proclaimed her progression to the next stage.
Addison Agen’s sweet smile landed her a spot in the Top 10, causing Miley to cheer for her beloved “Nugget Nation” and give Brooke a hug, who goes by the nickname Chicken Nugget. The night continued with a celebration for Jennifer Hudson, as Davon Fleming, a 25-year-old Baltimore resident, progressed with an effervescent performance. Adam Levine and his team then took the stage to perform Fleetwood Mac’s classic 1977 hit “Go Your Own Way.”
In the following stage, Davon Fleming who is a member of Jennifer Hudson’s team, had a grin on his face as he progressed further.
Adam Levine collaborated with his fellow singers to perform a group song, while Blake celebrated when his country music artist, Red Marlow, advanced to the following round. A series of backstage clips showcased Red’s popularity due to his funny phrases, one of which was “I’m as nervous as a chinchilla in a coat factory”. Noah Mac, the resident heartthrob, was also among those who were saved.
It’s hilarious how Red Marlow always incorporates amusing expressions into his discussions, and it appears to have helped him advance in the competition. A young guy from California, aged 18, has expressed his desire to continue growing and exploring beyond his comfort zone. Blake, the winner of The Voice on five occasions, joined Jennifer Hudson for an impromptu performance of his new song, I’ll Name The Dogs. Ashland Craft, a country singer hailing from South Carolina on Miley’s team, has also secured a place in the top 10 and is eager to conquer the world with her coach’s support.
